GOJO Industries, Inc. announced it again is title sponsor for the Hanna Motorsports jet-car drag-racing team in a partnership that helps promote the importance of automotive hand cleaner for enhancement of techs’ skin health and hygiene.
“GOJO is pleased to again support Hanna Motorsports as it campaigns across America to entertain drag-racing fans,” said Jim Brown, GOJO tough soils marketing director. “The involvement of GOJO in motorsports underscores our longtime relationship with people who work on automobiles as professionals or as do-it-yourselfers.”
GOJO Firebird driver Rich Hanna said the sponsorship is a natural relationship because effective automotive hand cleaner is essential for techs and backyard mechanics alike. “Our hands take a beating in a dirty, greasy environment. Products that make hands clean and healthy are essential for the quality of our lives outside the garage,” he said.
GOJO has been a leader in automotive hand cleaner since 1946. Brown noted GOJO scientists and automotive technicians have collaborated to understand the challenges of keeping skin clean and healthy and develop effective products.
Hanna Motorsports races a three-car team of jet dragsters, including the GOJO Firebird. It holds the world speed and elapsed time records for jet funny cars, with a quarter-mile best of 5.42 seconds and 296 mph. Other Hanna cars are the popular Queen of Diamonds and Top Secret jet dragsters.
The team will make appearances starting March 10 and continue through October at drag strips across America. Visit the Hanna Motorsports’ schedule to locate a race near you.
