Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities

Leads the development, planning, coordination, execution and measurement of consumer and B2B social media marketing strategies and initiatives across the enterprise. Responsible for developing and implementing process, strategy and structure and assessing opportunities to develop meaningful business results by engaging target audiences through relevant social media channels.  

  • Develops strategies and tactics to support GOJO business priorities via social media channels
  • Integrates social media strategy with integrated marketing communications plans to support business strategies throughout GOJO.
  • Assesses the opportunity to use social media to reach specific target audiences.
  • Develops and implements tactical plans to support marketing strategies, including creating programs that generate traffic to our sites, incite conversation and engagement, and grow advocacy and community.
  • Collaborates with and supports a multi-disciplinary team of subject matter experts responsible for the development and continual optimization of social assets.
  • Continuously investigates and evolves social listening and engagement methods to optimize efforts in audience segmentation, acquisition, engagement, retention, research and new product development.
  • Establishes metrics to track, analyze, optimize and report out progress against business and marketing objectives.
  • Assures integration of social platforms with paid & natural search, web, mobile and traditional media.
  • Procures and develops social content, makes branded content more socially relevant, distributes content across social networks, and raises awareness of GOJO, its brands and the issues that its stakeholders and target audiences cares about across social channels.
  • Collaborates with functional and business partners and influence appropriate integration of social executions with online/offline program components from planning phases through execution.
  • Ensures communications through social media use appropriate tone, follow enterprise communication policies and meet regulatory and legal standards.

Education and Experience Required

  • BBA, BA, or BS degree in marketing, public relations or related field
  • Business to Business (B2B) and Business to Consumer (B2C) experience preferred but not required
  • At least five (5) years’ demonstrated experience building and executing strategic digital/social media programs across various social networks/technologies
  • Full knowledge set, including hands-on experience with Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google+, YouTube and other social platforms
  • Proficiency with Google analytics and social media monitoring platforms such as Radian6, Crimson Hexagon, Sysomos, etc.

Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Knowledge of: 

  • Savvy and knowledgeable about current social media trends, innovations and best practices.
  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on proficiency with current social media platforms, including being an active and engaged participant in social media (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, Instagram, Pinterest, Tumblr etc.)
  • Fundamental knowledge of the relationship between social media, digital marketing (SEO, SEM, web, mobile) and traditional media.
  • Familiarity with web and social media analytics (Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, Twitter Analytics, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of performance metrics and ability as establish ROI and ROO parameters as they relate to social investments.
  • Sales and Marketing – Knowledge of principals and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
  • Passion for emerging technology, the internet, and all things social.
