InfectionControl.tips, a non-profit organization committed to promoting innovation that improves infection control in healthcare settings, has named GOJO SMARTLINKTM Service Alerts as a top innovation for 2017.
GOJO SMARTLINKTM Service Alerts is an Internet of Things (IoT) solution that uses predictive analytics to help ensure hand soap and hand sanitizer are always available for critical hand hygiene events in a healthcare facility. It is designed to provide a healthcare facility's staff with near-real-time monitoring of refill status, battery life, communication and dispenser status for GOJO dispensers. This technology, which is easily integrated with the SMARTLINKTM Activity Monitoring system, collects usage and status data for each GOJO-monitored device. GOJO technology collates this information and sends not only near-real-time updates, but also predicts when a dispenser will need to be refilled.
"GOJO SMARTLINKTM Service Alerts is the only innovation on the market today that offers a complete overview of everything from maintenance to servicing. This data helps to ensure hand hygiene products are available, and soap and sanitizer dispensers are ready and functioning," said Michael Diamond, executive director, InfectionControl.tips.
