"GOJO is a Family Enterprise where team members are at the center of everything we do. We’re inspired by each other, help one another other grow, and are energized by our impact. As leaders, we are proud to foster a highly collaborative, flexible, & inclusive culture that enables team members to thrive as we work together to help the world experience greater health & well-being. "

As the GOJO Chief Human Resources Officer, Zach Wemple leads all aspects of people and culture-related strategy, planning, and support for the organization. Zach believes that a strong culture, collaborative teams, and passionate team members are essential for those times of great business ambiguity. Starting at GOJO in April 2019, he witnessed all three during the once-in-a-lifetime pandemic, where GOJO was an essential business, working 24/7 to deliver its products out into the world. To him, GOJO was successful in achieving 140 B uses of PURELL products in 2020 because of the strong culture at GOJO, the unstoppable Team GOJO who are inspired by each other and energized by the impact they are making in the world, and the GOJO Purpose which provided a true north to help navigate the unprecedented times.

Prior to joining GOJO, Zach worked with Evoqua Water Technologies as their Vice President of Human Resources, providing both HR leadership to business segments and spearheading a transformation of the company’s global HR operations. With Deloitte Consulting, Zach served as a Human Capital Consultant. In his 13 years with The Sherwin-Williams Company, he served in various roles of increasing leadership responsibility, including Vice President of Human Resources Process Improvement and Shared Services.

Zach received his B.S. in Communications from Ohio University and his MBA from John Carroll University. He serves on the Board of Directors for the American Red Cross of the Greater Akron and Mahoning Valley. Born and raised in Ohio, Zach lives in Northeast Ohio with his wife and their two sons.
