Interim Chief Financial Officer, Chief Value Realization Officer and Finance Vice President

John Hooker
"We can only identify and realize new opportunities when we work together. I’ve found that when we embrace diverse perspectives, we become a stronger GOJO team. We build on each other’s ideas, working across the enterprise for win-win outcomes. That’s how we are ‘better together.’ "

John Hooker’s role fits him well, as he thrives on bringing GOJO leaders and teams together to identify and put into action new opportunities to drive revenue growth and optimize cost. As our Chief Value Realization Officer, and interim CFO, his goal is to steer GOJO to a path of strong financial performance, providing profit that fuels investment in future growth.

Since joining GOJO in 2007, John has served as Operations Controller, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Project Director, Information Technology Vice President, and Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Vice President before moving into his current role. Among many accomplishments, he led the SAP business application for ERP implementation and established our FP&A process. Prior to joining GOJO, John held several progressive supply chain and financial roles with Newell-Rubbermaid as well as with a tier one, private equity owned automotive supplier.

John earned both his B.S. in Accounting and MBA from the University of Akron. He is currently a board member for Weaver Industries, a non-profit organization with a mission to help individuals with disabilities maximize their independence through partnerships focused on vocational training and employment. John is an avid runner and sports fan and spends most of his free time with his family. He and his wife live in Northeast Ohio and have three daughters.
