Hanna Motorsports Announces Marketing Partnership with GOJO

Hanna Motorsports, Enfield, CT, a 47-year professional exhibition drag race company, today announces the signing of a sponsorship agreement with GOJO Industries, Inc. Akron, Ohio. GOJO will be represented on Hanna Motorsports’ exhibition jet car teams, with the primary car being the “First Strike” Firebird of driver Rich Hanna, which will now be known as the “GOJO Firebird.” The Firebird is the current ‘World Speed and ET Record Holder’ in the Jet Funny Car category, having run a best time of 5.42 @ 296 MPH.

Driver Rich Hanna adds, “This is really exciting for Hanna Motorsports. I am proud to represent GOJO, America’s #1 Brand of Heavy Duty Hand Cleaner, at events across the US, Canada, and Puerto Rico. 2011 should be great.”

The Hanna Motorsports team cars, the “Queen of Diamonds” 300 MPH Jet Dragster, driven by Jill Canuso, the ”GOJO Firebird”, and the “Top Secret” Firebird, driven by Ken Hall, are recognized as one of the top teams in the history of the exhibition jet car category. In 2011, the team cars will appear in between 60 and 70 events, including race events, trade shows, auto shows, and other special venues, and all will carry the GOJO logo.
The GOJO Firebird makes its initial 2011 debut at the traditional Easter Weekend event at Roxboro Dragway, Roxboro, North Carolina, April 23-24. The entire team debuts the ‘GOJO’ colors at the upcoming Blaster Racing/Lucas Oil NHRA Points Series Championship race being held at Summit Motorsports Park, Norwalk, Ohio, May 13-15.
