Reduce water usage by 30%

We recognize water as a precious, but finite global resource, with billions of gallons used every day to grow crops and sustain lives. At GOJO, water is critical to our delivery of health and well-being to the world. We are passionate about preserving this valuable resource. That’s why we’ve identified our own water usage as a target for reduction. 

Our goal is to reduce water usage throughout our operations by 30% relative to the 2010 per use rate, by 2015.

Reduce solid waste by 25%

At GOJO, we're addressing the solid waste challenge with programs geared toward reducing, reusing and recycling. While we already recycle thousands of tons of scrap metal, paper and cardboard, we have goals to do even better. We continue to find alternative purposes for our waste, reducing the  impact on our fragile environment.

Our goal is to reduce solid waste generation by 25% relative to the 2010 per use rate,
by 2015.

Reduce greenhouse gases (GHG) by 5%

Although GOJO operations do not leave a sizable carbon footprint, we recognize the global threat that greenhouse gases pose to the environment. That's why we're focusing our attention on the global effort to reduce GHG emissions. 

Our goal is to reduce our own GHG by 5% relative to the 2010 per use rate, by 2015.

At GOJO, sustainability is about living and working in ways that enhance life today while taking into account the needs of future generations. It's about creating products, programs and services that are beneficial to life, and producing them in ways that don't cause harm to society or the environment. And, finally, it's about building economic strength and prosperity for all of our stakeholders.

It's for all of these reasons that we've identified a social sustainability goal of bringing well-being to one billion people
every day.

Yes, it's an aggressive target, but worth the hard work and perseverance it will take in order to increase the health and well-being of the billions of people who depend on us.
